Paula was the one who brought the music of the South into my family. I grew up listening to Los Chalchaleros, Víctor Jara, and Mercedes Sosa. Those same songs became the soundtrack of the restaurant during its early years, playing on an old, battered record player that one of my brothers had donated to the cause. That music carried the spirit of my childhood, bringing back the wonderful memories of growing up in our family home.
